Man's ways are corrupt, so yes no civilization will last forever. That doesn't excuse what has been done.

Yes I have expectations of others. That is part of a functioning society. If everyone is only out for themselves then you do exactly as the boomers did. I expect my parents to leave me behind a legacy as I will my children.

I expect others of my race and community to act and behave in a dignified and Godly manner.

Why wouldn't I have expectations of others?

As to the will I succeed? I already have I am in the Book of Life.
