neotoy@glaroc It's more nuanced than that. you're oversimplification is confirmation bias. there are reasons besides jealousy to wish that billionaires didn't exist. for one: their monumental carbon footprint and disproportionate impact on the ecosystem. a billionaire is similar to a WMD in the sense that the power & influence they wield can ruin millions of lives on a whim. conversely, their capacity to effect positive change is unparalleled, but rarely do they exercise it for those who need it most.
