because they can't run anticheats? is it not because linux users are still a minority and having to work on a port is a pain deemed unnecessary? Garry's Mod doesn't have anticheat yet the creator hates Linux and only begrudgingly made a version for the platform, and you're still better off running the Windows version with Proton rather than using the native version.
