@blogdiva @tchambers @evan To add on to that, funds is a really good first step to help us start building but we're all doing this unpaid and so it does consistently come down to a dedicated few to keep things moving forward. What will happen (and what we are dealing with) is that when it comes to T&S we're starting with our values then simply figuring it out from there.

I even want to say the most impactful thing you can provide to those of us building these platforms is knowledge & expertise. It's a common theme we see when helping black folx and marginalised identities to donate and declare that as your allyship (I have seen this on mastodon very regularly) but either not do the work of antiracism or actively participate.

I do know the participation part is a touchy subject as we don't want people coming in and taking up the space but at the same time, if you have that knowledge and skill, it will be appreciated and taken advantage of.
