Rich Felker@elly I don't think you're wrong, but this is a consequence of the industry intentionally destroying the foundations of the internet, putting middlemen in everything, and turning mail software to garbage.
We have a lot of work to do to repair that and make ways that folks can send patches, with readily available tools, that don't involve GitHub or the likes...
