Something appealing about AT is that you can use a bare domain as your public identifier, but that of course can’t work when bridged to the fediverse. I’m mostly hoping to avoid some default like fediverse@mergesort.social and hopefully being able to use a custom handle as my identifier (like joe@mergesort.social).
