I run my accounts and sites because I am so shocked by the depravities of Meta etc and want to encourage better alternatives.

If I didn't have such a low opinion of Meta, I wouldn't be pouring most of my spare time into helping the Fediverse with FediTips, FediFollows, FediGarden, FediVideo, GrowYourOwn etc.
