The Fediverse isn't one thing, it's thousands of indie sites which talk to each other. They don't even run the same software, some run Mastodon but others run totally diferent stuff.

If you want to avoid any "coalition" servers, they would probably the handful of really huge servers that Meta seems to have had a meeting with.

We know at least Fosstodon.org told Meta to go away as they published the letter and their uncompromising reply.
