@Owl @sandwich @synapsid I used to have a big chip on my shoulder about these things too but it is hard to avoid pattern recognition. A woman doesn't need to be a slut or bimbo to hold these sensibilities. She can actually be pretty modest and conservative and still get upset when some jackass gets an uppercut, let alone maimed or killed.

Women as a whole don't like seeing people or animals getting physically hurt, even when they posed a direct threat. Men who hold similar opinions tend to be more effeminate and women that tend to hold the opposite view tend to be more masculine.

It is literally an estrogen thing.

Being empathetic isn't necessarily a bad thing, even towards your enemies. It just needs to be reasonable. If I wasn't capable of feeling empathy towards Nazis I wouldn't be here. These women were never taught to be reasonable and to curtail their feelings. Or sexual desire.
