Play nice, infiltrate, capture and turn the screw has been played out so many times and yet🤦♂️

I'm seeing so much of this about Meta I begin to wonder if it's astroturfing, and then I remember I'm hearing it from admins too.🤷♂️

When I polled about blocking commercial instances, when Medium joined, I was heartened to see much support but I'm afraid they aren't being heard, or even asked. I'm on three instances, none have polled.
