what I'm disappointed about is that you are going to federate with Facebook in spite of the raw danger it poses to the fediverse. I'm disappointed that you wanted to remove the federated reporting because it's such a valuable tool for keeping this a clean space where we can all feel comfortable

I sincerely doubt you have ever experienced discrimination based on your gender or race and I'm disappointed that you aren't listening to us who have. Facebook and corporate social media made a place where I felt unsafe and I've been given no assurance that that won't happen with their new project. I don't think we should give Facebook any benefit of the doubt, and I think I speak for a lot of people here when I say that.

as the admin of a large instance, there should be a large level of transparency and input from users in a decision as important as federating with Facebook. I think you and especially @stux should run polls to see if your users really want to federate with Facebook
