@Humpleupagus @fyho I'm in Canada. Being queer is just normal, culturally, for the most part - and the people up here are, generally speaking, much safer, happier, and enjoy a higher standard of living than in the US, despite having a significantly lower annual income, per capita. Giving queer people the same rights as straight people has not lead to societal collapse, despite all of the homophobic propaganda we receive from America stressing that it will. Dunno, bud. Sure sounds like you.
