I'm a sucker for hurt/comfort. So I write it. I like many things/arcs:
People finding their way back on the tracks after their life was derailed by fate.
Growth arcs in general.
People learning to trust and love.
The outlaw and odd one finding a group of people who they can feel at home with.
A group of people growing together as a team.
The group of misfits and good-for-nothings saving the day. The old one who thinks life has nothing to offer anymore finding new purpose.
