@animeirl @Arcana I think you came into this conversation assuming I was a right winger malding about art and it's informing everything you say. I just like to see things with a diversity of worldviews regardless of if whether I agree with them or not. I think it's interesting and enriching.

I'm not sure what U.S. conservatives censoring literature has to do with this conversation. I think banning harmless books is a travesty. I think it's okay to tell children they can't read something until they're older though, unless they get parental permission (There were things I read in school that I needed a permission slip for since they were violent and had sex.)
