Hello mastodon my old friend,
ive come to troll about plugs again.
All the new EU plugs the F (german type) and the E (french type) are both backwards and cross compatible with the "Europlug" type C which doesnt have a grounding pin. So a type E/F can go in a type C socket and theres no grounding, or a type C plug can go in a E/F socket and theres no grounding.
Outside of the capitals many plugs are still type C, so no europe screwed the pooch when they upgraded.
