@niclas If the EU socket types didnt take type C Europlugs still, then theyd be decent, but they do, which makes them fire hazards. The EU voted ultimately against requiring all sockets europewide to change to new a singular type that didnt take type C Europeplugs and even if they had the plugtype they were debating still wouldnt have had the ability to turn the power off at the socket without touching a potentially live dangerous plug, have internal wiring failsafe or a fuse.
