Anyone who used to pirate and stopped when it got slightly more difficult are just watching youtube or listening to podcasts.
Most people, I think, just spend all day consuming some manner of media, whether that's podcasts, audiobooks, videos or music. I don't think the quality actually matters all that much, it's just whatever standard they're used to from the last two weeks is what they expect from whatever it might be that they're ravenously consuming as background noise.
If they were to purchase it, I think they'd just end up buying bootlegs anyway. Which personally, I don't really care. I'd rather give my money to John "Scratch'n'Sniff" Smith from the bad part of town than I would a foreign media empire, because foreigners are all evil & need to be exiled to the depths of a hateful, stormy sea & their laws openly ignored for spite if nothing else. (Anyone who doesn't think all foreigners except a few they've personally met suck, no matter their nationality, is a globalism lover & would kiss the moldy bum bums of elderly UN staffers for free)
