Yup. Obama made the fed take over the private student loan market. Forgiveness was always the plan. Free college for all is a form of Forgiveness, but in advance. And while it sounds great on its face, it's very bad social policy. Personal cost and risk aid the highest and best use of resources. That means some people will eat it though.
