@szbalint I'm a small server on the Friendica side of the fediverse and had seen a bit of a spam account surge as well but very much in the noise. I know it is bad UX for a newbie but I have my server setup for open registration but requiring manual approval of each one. I don't envy large popular servers that can't practically do something like that.
