@DEERBLOOD @dharmadudebro @ArdainianRight I came to really hate “the longhouse” after hearing it from many BAP-listeners at work. I tend to have a thing where I don’t go out and look for new info to define a fresh subculture thing, I like forming my own idea of it organically to see what it appears to be without the rigid definition.

To date, I haven’t had a single IRL guy explain it to me beyond vague “it’s like, when women run everything” mush. The only reason I DID find out what it meant - after about 1-3 years of it being in common online lexicon to the point I hear it at work - was because someone sent me a substack from a few months back. If it weren’t for that I’d STILL be in the dark. (I know, I could look it up myself but I like forming my own ideas, particularly when it’s a subcultural ideology thingy like this. It’s telling to me that the people saying it can’t explain the precept.)
