@LadyMont @Piss_Ant According to my observations, clinging to youth is ultimately a confidence-sapping trap rooted in standards men have imposed on women; men who take pride in their own aging. And continually seeking others' approval ends up being unattractive anyway. Women cannot win the game whose rules were set by men.

Yet I haven't managed to shake off desire to look young. I have big eyes, am usually perceived as cute/bubbly and these traits seem to be out of place with being older. If all this babbling makes any sense.
