@thomasfuchs General point: real publishers generally run a production cycle that takes up to a year to turn a manuscript into a published book. That's a year *after* it's written and frozen. Self-pub is typically much faster but also messier/more prone to errors and quality issues.
So if you're looking for a book, any properly produced one will be out of date and any up-to-date one will likely be badly edited/full of errors.
A book is the wrong medium.
