mhoye@cwebber @emacsomancer I’m finding myself dead-ending in this manual almost immediately. Open emacs, got it, see “emacs manual” cool, pick that… and I’m in the Coreutils manual for… some reason? And the _opening paragraph_ of the coreutils manual explicitly states, if you’re a novice you are on your own. If I open “browse manuals” the “basics” section includes date input formats, coreutils twice and gnu chess but no, like, edit a file.
