@pfefferle @jeremy non, no, just not showing, only the form to post new ones appear, not the old comments. After removing Webmention (tried to disable/enable, modify options and save... purged cache each time), they reappeared.
When switching to 2023, with Webmention, they were there...

This is on my AMF site. On WWW, with same theme and almost same config, they didn't disappear, BUT "coincidentally" I didn't "play" with Jetpack core...
