@ewdocparris The rotation, even though barely perceptible, had a calming effect on Miles White. There was a time, he remembered, when he was allowed on an EVA and he was able to hold on while the central unit spun. Whenever he felt his heart begin to race, he sat down and recalled this experience. He would breathe deeply, close his eyes & let his body relive that one moment of freedom.
His mind wandered.
"Today is your day, inmate."
Miles looked up.
"Your last EVA."
Miles's head drooped.
