Trying to wind my mind bak to the late 1980s as a #compuserve user, when you would get "links" from people, to "out there" on the big overwhelming internet, where you had to type or paste stuff into an address bar. And all this endless stuff with a slightly less sharp attitude came up.

Somehow Compuserve lost it to the internet, only to temporarily have it grabbed by #Facebook and #Google etc. Interested to see how this will play out but definitely cheering for small independents on the #fediverse and booing the others.
