    @humanetech I have to take back the part about religion: that was a the second version of the license:

    proprietary to RAIL: https://github.com/CompVis/stable-diffusion/commit/69ae4b35e0a0f6ee1af8bb9a5d0016ccb27e36dc

    Initially it was licensed under an MIT license, then it got licensed under a full-on proprietary license, now it uses OpenRAIL which has use-restrictions. @pluralistic @glynmoody @fsfe
