@evan I was too late to answer the poll, but slow trains are roughly the same price as buses & roughly take the same amount of time. Buses often have lower GHG emissions than trains (even electric trains!). So I let the price decide (which often depends on how much advance notice you give).

If price is not a factor, then fast trains are the winner.
