@Sexypink it makes sense and honestly ime a big part of the problem is that the fediverse is still fairly limited in terms of what types of people are on here and what they talk about. it's gotten better I think but there's still less of a critical mass of a lot of different people with diverse interests talking about things. I guess hashtags are meant to be kind of like the equivalent of a subreddit for tracking certain topics but I rarely see people actually use hashtags for stuff like that
