HP van Braam@funranium @cstross yeah, I've had to drop whole servers as well. The steps are usually:
1) see a lot of shitty comments from the same domain
2) report them to the server admins
3) hear nothing
4) look at their stated moderation policy and see something about them not removing anything not "illegal"
5) drop server
