   Am having fun discovering who—on Mastodon—gets all uptight at the suggestion that neo-nazis might have assassinated a black politician in the US. The knees are very jerky tonight, and seem to have discounted Occam's Razor. Blocklist expanding (albeit much more slowly than it would have done on Twitter, even pre-Muskrat).

     @funranium @cstross yeah, I've had to drop whole servers as well. The steps are usually:

     1) see a lot of shitty comments from the same domain
     2) report them to the server admins
     3) hear nothing
     4) look at their stated moderation policy and see something about them not removing anything not "illegal"
     5) drop server

     Internet libertarians are such shitbirds.

     @cstross I've found I'm blocking a lot of people from a single server. Don't wanna drop the entire server in the shitter but I'm also simultaneously unsurprised at the wealth of toxic libertarians in that community.

     Mainly, I'm annoyed at:

     1) Having to block these people all over again.
     2) They found me again to be shitbirds.
     3) And brought along entirely new shitbirds.
