Same lmao, I've avoided the entire genre because of that. It's addictive, and looking back on some of the highlights is nice and all. Had fun, met some randoms that I've kept to this day, but that was a huge time/money sink. And some fuckers sat there and specifically made it that way. ~"How can we slow the game down to a crawl and still keep these fuckers coming back and paying us?"

There are some exceptions at least, PoE still seems ethical (I stopped paying attention though so that may have changed since) if you want a genuine successor to diablo 2 etc. I supported that one for quite a while because of their pro player business model.
