I guess the unfortunate reality is that all these institutions are being treated like obstacles to overcome rather than things that are to be respected. You’ll notice the two “sides” in America will bluntly reject the legitimacy of SCOTUS, the presidency, whoever, if they don’t get their way. That’s not a good sign for the republic.
