pettter@rysiek My position is essentially that a lot of AI tools are simply not fit for purpose, and are being deeply, deeply, subsidized by billionaire investors and stupid oil/tech money. It's not a sustainable model, and it's not going to be.
Of course, that doesn't mean it won't do a lot of damage on the way, similar to e.g. fossil fuel use.
