@rysiek Remember that OpenAI eats a _lot_ of the cost of using ChatGPT. Just the compute costs are "astronomical", and that's without counting the gig workers.
I agree generally that it puts the tool into more people's hands, but again, it's not something fundamentally new. Rich people could and did cheat (or pay thinktanks and "reseachers" to produce "reports") before this, and it is and was a problem. Just not a new one.
