@freemo if i have just a little alcohol, i feel tired and get a mild headache. the typical pattern was that i'd get invited to some party maybe once or twice a year, and i'd get quite drunk, and that would be the end of it. no drinking outside of that. that's how it worked prior to 2020.

some years into it, i tried quitting, and was successful until i decided to celebrate a holiday, and i found that my behaviour had changed, and i'd go out and buy more alcohol while still drunk, and just continue drinking after.
