    @paul I did not use this method, but here is a guide for installing #Matrix using #Python / #Synapse: https://matrix-org.github.io/synapse/latest/

    After chatting with @matrix over email I opted for the managed hosting option using Element (https://element.io) which starts at $5 per month (I am on the $15 per month plan which means I can add 4 others if I desire).

    Avoid using the https://Marrix.org domain & use a custom domain instead.
