!politics First of all, I'm not good at English, so I use translation to read and write. It took me a while because you posted the next one while I was writing my reply.
In addition, it is late at night around 2022-12-26T00:17+09:00 in Japan, so if I write a follow-up reply, it will be tomorrow evening, 2022-12-26T18:00+09:00.
I'm new to Web 3.0 and don't know much about political theory and stuff like that. In Japan, distributed SNS and Web 3.0 have different user groups. So, if you talk about Web 3.0 to distributed SNS users in Japan, I don't think they will respond very well.
I wouldn't go as far as a cyberspace declaration, but basically my political stance is closer to yours. In other words, it supports the government and the law, and emphasizes freedom of speech.
Is b4 an emoji?
> First on political spectrum.
I'm sorry. I thought you were an anarchist, so I put it with the Right for convenience.
Globally and in Western Europe, the left wing = emphasis on human rights and support for speech control, the right wing = patriotism and denial of speech control (support for freedom of speech).
Globally, leftists support speech control because they attach too much importance to human rights such as LGBT.
Probably, in China, the right wing = patriotism and support for speech control, and the left wing = emphasis on human rights and denial of speech control, so you will be a leftist in China.
Since the level of human rights is different between China and Western Europe, the left and right have slightly different meanings.
I feel like you haven't grasped the history of left and right, so I'll explain a bit. Since ancient times, the left wing has emphasized human rights and is rationalist, while the right wing has been patriotic and emotional. However, the left wing's emphasis on human rights has driven out the right wing, and the right wing among the left wing has repeatedly become a relative right wing.
The FOSS world was originally left-centric and pro-free speech. However, with the LGBT and others as a trigger, some people have come to accept the control of speech for the sake of human rights. As a result, the traditional left has now become the right, and the advocates of human rights and speech control have become the left.
Perhaps your position will be the traditional left = current right.
The following post summarizes the history of the conflict between the left and right since 2010. It's in Japanese, but if you don't mind using a translation, please read it.

> Then, on anarchism.
I don't understand the details of anarchism either. I think @ryo and @udon are close to this. I believe that the position is that natural law is the only law, denies government control, and respects individual freedom through anonymity.
You said the government shouldn't go away anytime soon. It's just that cyberspace declarations and you are country agnostic. So I decided I was pretty close to anarchism.
> CN and JP community think im too 'left'?
As I explained at the beginning, in China you will be leftist, but outside of China you will be rightist or anarchist.
> Actually I did an interview in Fukushima-
I do not know about this. What are you thinking and what are you aiming for your base policy or goal? I haven't seen your coverage yesterday. Checking English interviews is hard work for me... Today was a tiring day for me because of the DDoS attack.
> my financial story is related with Bitcoin and Ethereum;
yes. Given your interest in Web 3.0, I assumed you probably made a lot of money in the crypto bubble and its business.
> But these folks I know triggered my bad memories on nation states.
Western Europe and most of the existing media are centered on the left, and the left is negative about crypto assets supported by the right.
> But I'm happy to have experiments on giving autonomy to society.
I support the FSF. (Associate member = Ken Senoo https://www.gnu.org/thankgnus/2022supporters.html). And for me distributed social networks are just part of the free software movement. Among them, it is a position that I personally support the GNU social of the GNU project.
My goal is to make a successful business that only hires myself, and to succeed in the development of GNU social and distributed SNS. I have been active with this account since 2022-07. Personally, I am a GNU social user since 2017-10.
My decentralized SNS relationship is just that. I can't even think of your network nation and political theory. I think very few people can understand that.
> I'm blessed to be both quiet close to an elementary 'sovereign individual' from a political and financial perspective.
What does this mean? Do you mean government officials? Does it mean that you are free as president of the company?
However, there are people who feel threatened and distrusted that you personally have a lot of money and power and own a huge server like pawoo.
> P.S. I’m big fan of the Ghost in the Shell, which Mask’s logo took some idea to show respect. None of you guys noticed???
I think Ghost in the Shell was also popular in Japan. However, in Japan, distributed SNS and Web 3.0 have different user groups. I don't think there is much recognition of Mask Network among Japanese decentralized SNS users, so I think the response is weak.
I understand your background with your explanation of things at EFF. Many decentralized SNS users in Japan seem to welcome you.
However, I don't think you posted much on decentralized SNS, so people on decentralized SNS don't know you very well, and some people are skeptical. Some people are wary of your ties to the Chinese government because you are Chinese.
I think it takes time for skeptics to understand. I think it depends on your future activities on decentralized SNS. I wish you good luck. I also do my best.
