Ian Betteridge@danhugo @stavvers Part of the problem with journalism (and I have been one for nearly 28 years, gulp) is that it can be a huge, constant ego massage. Very few people are unsusceptible to that. The moment that you start thinking "don't they know who I am?" and thinking the world revolves around you you really need to take a long break from it.
