jill@hee_katie have a look at @feditips and there are even already YT videos explaining how it works. Most important thing to know about the different servers is, that each owner decides which rules apply for their server. So, that sets the tone and kind of community one is joining and that is the reason why you fortunately don't and won't find every single server listed on the #joinmastodon site. Just do a little of research and reading and you will understand it much better. :fediverse:
