- Embed this noticeEven if I agreed with them, the genie is out of the bottle on the matter. At best we get some sort of token ban on the for-profit business use of AI-generated images using protected samples in their model (and I'd be shocked if boomer-run govts understood or cared to), which would be hard to enforce. But then there's still millions of private individuals who could do the same and be very difficult to pin down with what we already have access to, let alone future methods which words on paper will never prevent the development of.
