I genuinely have trouble when I see someone kill a spider. I love spiders. I think very few of them are cute, but they display a level of intelligence that isn't found in many other bugs. I've almost accidently smashed one, and they curl in a ball and cower, it breaks my heart. There is something there. That's a life.
