Everyone has heard "love thy neighbor" but how many know that entails "sternly punishing bad behavior like a father raising his kids"? Most people's understanding of Christian love (Agape) is completely wrong because instead of being taught properly it's just sort of thrown at you and you're left to fill in the blanks with whatever appeals to you.
