@sim Usually because they're assholes who want a naive woman they can abuse or treat poorly without her knowing any better. Sometimes it's a corruption thing, though I don't think that's as common. For some men it's also because they view that as what a woman should traditionally be; naive, dumb, subservient, etc. Sometimes it's because they associate it with purity, and genuinely just want a pure, innocent, and kind woman.
