Terribly sorry for the pain and suffering your family and friends endured. I cannot possibly know what you all went through. I am thankful for you being able to share your story. I was stationed on Okinawa, Japan and felt fortunate to be there 30 mos. I immersed myself into the local area as best I could. I dated a couple of Okinawan ladies. I attended a wedding; a concert; movies. I was not in mainland Japan. Be well.
