Don't worry about internal bleeding if the wound is on the extremities. Only think about it if it's on the torso (anywhere), neck, or on the thigh. The thighs can hold enough blood inside them to make a person bleed out, but don't worry about it on the knees or lower leg or on the arms. Of course external bleeding is a thing even at these places.
