I would love to get back into pirate radio, but if the audience is not there, it is simply self-stimulus.

"Social media" in the sense of scrollers I think invites the type of drive-by commentary that IRC was famous for. I never liked that kind of socializing or interaction.

Maybe this place could be improved, but there's a lot of circularity. Substack right now is the most useful resource, and Twitter is somewhere in there, although I think the algo is too aggressive although thankfully not as insane as on Meta products.
