@WeirdWriter This is just so utterly stupid. I wrote back on the :birdsite: nearly a decade ago about how the erosion and collapse of the principle that unauthorized interception of private communication without a warrant is a felony let to me feeling a complete inability to have any kind of personally intimate communication except with people on e2ee channels.

And somehow now a huge portion of the population not only doesn't seem to comprehend that, but willfully tells all of their friends'/family's most intimate details to the automated fascism service. 🤬 🤦
