Monsieur Pierrey@PNS @amerika @Invictus My parents lived in Hong Kong for 20-odd years, and while HK was fully brittish, take a ferry to the mainland and it was a completely different world. I was told they don't help people who get injured in traffic accidents because it's considered bad luck to do so… It's also why they build skyscrapers on bamboo scaffolding, which regularly collapses and injures/kills a dozen at a time.
