Evan Prodromou@darius @anildash this isn't strictly true. I used Twitter back when it had a public timeline. And identi.ca had a public timeline, although at its peak it was completely unmanageable; hundreds of posts per minute. I guess I don't find the model appealing, and I think groups and lists work better and are more intentional. YMMV!
